Digital hygiene is a sign of a modern day gentlemen. When somebody doesn’t have his things (digitally speaking) together, I question his professionalism.

I don’t know where the idea of messy desk = genius mind comes from, but I don’t like it. A renaissance man in the 1500s, or a “genius” as we would say, was both a scientist and an artist. They delighted in the aesthetics. They loved functional art. They respected good design.

A clean digital setup will not thwart your creativity but rather flourish it.
